🌊 About Paco Chan:

Paco Chan is more than a guide — he’s part of the soul of Cozumel. Born and raised on the island, he learned from his father how to live with nature: fishing, hunting, diving, and exploring the ocean. His passion for the sea began in childhood and has shaped his life ever since.

As a teenager, Paco was already teaching diving, taking people fishing, and guiding snorkeling trips. He picked up surfing at an early age, and when kiteboarding arrived, there was no one to teach him — so he taught himself. Today, he’s not only a professional kiteboarder but also certified through XX, and known as one of the island’s best watermen.

Though he has won several fishing competitions, Paco’s heart has never been in competing — but in the experience itself. For him, it’s about sharing joy, nature, and freedom. He has traveled the world, yet always returned home. Of all the places he’s seen, he chose Cozumel, because this island is where his heart belongs.

Paco is famous here not only for his skill, but for his kindness and humor. He has a way of making everyone laugh, feel at ease, and discover their adventurous side. When you’re with him, you’re not just on a tour — you’re part of an experience, guided by someone who lives and breathes the ocean.
